We took the kids on a drive this past Saturday to look for some wildflower fields. Last year there were seas of blue in the fields. Sadly, this year we had a hard time finding a place to stop and take pictures. We finally settled on this patch along an access road off of Hwy 290 in Hempstead, TX. There was a beautiful display of yellow flowers, but only one sad little patch of bluebonnets. We managed to get some good pictures anyway though. Enjoy!
